Copypasta is a term used to describe information that has been repeatedly duplicated and posted on internet networks and digital communities. The moniker was initially coined in a 4chan Anon community in 2006 and is thought to be a combination of the phrases “clone” and “posting.” The term was added to the Urban Vocabulary this year.
The Navy Seal Copypasta, commonly referred to as the “Military Copypasta,” the “Allegedly Macho Man Copypasta,” and the “Orangutan Combat Copypasta,” is a sarcastic statement that portrays the author as an Internet big boy archetype by making a succession of ludicrous assertions and bombastic threats.
The author of the first article purported to be a retired Military Secret with an extensive record of expertise in battle, utilizing humorous mistakes and exaggerations such as “Gorilla Operations,” “300 Recorded Kills,” and “I can execute you in nearly 700 techniques with only my bare hands.”
Since it first appeared in the middle of 2012, the copypasta has given rise to many other spin-off tales that are analogous to the John Copypasta meme. Navy seal copypasta Japanese is another updated version of it.

History
It is thought that the copypasta was first posted on the online message group for soldiers and firearms enthusiasts known as Operation Chan at some point in 2010. The first preserved comment was published to 4chan’s forum on October 11th, 2010, in which the contributor reported to have read the statement before on Operations Chan.
This submission is the latest one that has been found. The battle between a Navy Seal and an Israeli Army was featured in show 14 of the second edition of Toughest Warrior, which premiered on BBC on August 27, 2010.
In some of the scenes, a Navy seal demonstrates the strength of the Commando 1 knife by frantically stabbing at a mannequin and shouting as he continues to attack the mannequin many times. Navy seal copypasta’s original post was deleted but you can still find its copies.

Reddit user fahottie uploaded a photograph to the community on March 4, 2012, showing a Vimeo remark that included the copypasta. The image earned upwards of 20,000 thumbs-ups and 970 responses before it was removed.
The Videomaker Copypasta Sings published a melodic variation of the copypasta on May 22nd, and during the subsequent 10 months, it was seen more than 87,000 times and earned 780 opinions. On the 17th of October, user 487j contributed an article to Urban Wikipedia for the word “silverback assault,” characterizing it as the preparation that “fake Navy Seals” get.
A theatrical narration of the copypasta was posted on Newgrounds by user JoePorter134 on November 16th. A user named LiterallyKesha posted the statement to the copypasta thread on Reddit on November 10, 2013, along with connections to numerous famous alternative versions of the remark.
Within the next year, the post was given over 75 thumbs of positive votes and got 135 opinions. Navy seal copypasta variations are guided as the same thing with different names.
